Patience?
Could certainly do with an application of that ( does it work like a face masque?) to refresh my complexion and brighten my portfolio.( I am sure it will)
As to the grasshopper ... David Carradine may have been my first screen idol in the tv series ( Kung Fu) that inspired Yoda’s
“Patience you need young grasshopper”.
Clearly he inspired George Lucas as well (along with him also taking ideas from Joseph Campbell and some others )
Back then as a teenager I determined the way of ascetic restraint and self control was to be my path also.
The graduation test was snatching a pebble from the teacher’s hand.
Sadly I haven’t found one yet. (A pebble-holding teacher)
Price-wise at NWH today higher volume but not upwardly mobile ?
And recent contract-wise can someone please explain why our latest conttact which is 20 up to 123km of rail, work for FMG is worth $57million but this one (repasted below) so many years ago was worth $110million? The new one has no bridges but is almost twice as long?
Also why does the contract show as being for 20 - 123 km and our announcement - for Stage One - not mention how many kilometres are included in
Stage One?
Pioupiou’s post shows contracts 3 and 5 as being for bridgework and associated road work.
If those two aspects of the Christmas Creek rail extension added so much value back in 2008 then what will they be worth today?
Cheers

2008 CHRISTMAS CREEK RAIL EXTENSION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This Project commenced in June 2008 but was suspended by Fortescue due to the Global Financial Crisis in November 2008 and recommenced in January 2010.
The Works consist of 44 kilometres of rail earthworks together with associated drainage, road deviation and bridge underpass works between the Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek mine sites.
Working through difficult terrain, NRW’s scope included rail embankment construction, access roads, reinforced earth walls, a steel girder bridge with a cast in-situ bridge deck, rail crossing and signal pads and construction of a fuel unloading rail spur.
Portions of the works were carried out adjacent to live rail, an operational haul road and heritage sites which required sensitive drill and blast.
Works were completed without disruption to Fortescue’s critical ore movements.
