All good. I've got a thick skin. I'm a big boy.
"when once sold the mentality shifts completely 180 "
I haven't shifted 180°. I still think this is a great deposit. Maybe I've shifted 90° short term due to the options?
"instead of moving on the wish to want it to bomb lower for that persons particular goal becomes evident."
If you're reading every thread (including my posts) and can't tell what my goal is after I've attempted to clearly state "why"... then... well... it's a good thing I've a thick skin.
Why would I want to move on if I still think this is a great economic deposit? I'm keen to get back in and I've already started averaging in. There's no way I'll pick the bottom and buy 1 or 2 or 5 or 10 million shares in one hit, it's not going to happen. I'm not aggressively wiping lines, I'd rather be fed nibble size chunks by algorithms.
Depending on how this oppies thing plays out, I reckon the heads have the potential to hit 2c. Possibly high teens if the algos are left unchecked. This is only a 30-40% loss on the way down from here, but, it's well over 50% gain on the way back up. To put it another way, if selling now and buying the same dollar value later, you can increase holdings by 50%. The flip side is that all this will force a dilutionary capital raise next year, which is another potential trade again.
Is it worth flipping your shares on a trade? That all depends on your holding size and tolerance for risk. If you've holding 5-10 million shares it likely starts to be challenging getting out and somewhat risky getting back in time. If you're holding 100-200k of shares, then it's probably an easy trade. Me? I'm somewhere inbetween with my tolerance/size/price numbers telling me to "go for it". If the oppies do continue to drag the heads down and my strategy works, I'll have more than doubled my position. Of course, this assumes an all in/out scenario, if you're lucky enough to have 5-10 million shares, then you could play with 5-10% of your holding.
Bugger me. You're getting some good free research here. Isn't hot copper great!
