The mind boggles at the thought of Chan-o-cha overseeing a restart of Chatree and expansion..with his string of school-boy style mistakes to-date and half-dozen attempts at scheduling an overdue election..but in-my-opinion that's been in the back of his mind all along..This gold-mining accounted for 2.2% of Thai GDP in 2015..and that was before the upward-turnaround in gold price..as per below recent article..We've all missed-out on the gold price-rises..The historic middle-article shows what Thaksin Shinawatra has been doing in his spare time..international gold-mining investments..

It would be interesting if Shinawatra were to flip-the-tables on the current unelected PM and takeover Chatree..either way it would be in Thailand's national interest to pay-off Kingsgate..as it's been well-documented they've failed to produce any evidence of arsenic/manganese poisoning coming from Chatree (the stated premise of the 2016 industry-shutdown) so why turn-up to international court empty handed..
