I think people don't want to bet on a legal outcome (assuming the company remains funded until then).

How many people are legal experts able to predict the outcome?  Even if they expect a positive outcome, it's still a gamble compared to investing in other companies.

I'm ok gambling with the KCN shares that I already have which have little remaining value, but I'm not gambling any more money (which would in effect drive up the share price).

Judging by the share price, quite a lot of people want to avoid the legal process and the gamble, by selling, while barely anybody is wanting to take on that risk.

$34m market cap - pretty low, so if there's any inside info about the NE sale, or if they release any good news to market, maybe somebody will decide to buy.
