I'm not sure what it'll mean for KCN, but this will give them a good chance at unseating the junta.
So today - princess nominated, and Prayuth formally accepted the nomination, so he's decided to fight it out against her. Yesterday, there were rumors of the princess's nomination, and that Prayuth would step down - not so.
It'll be a unique election. The junta will have to hold back on the cheating and foul play from now on, with the lese majeste laws on the princess's side (though she's not formally a princess any more after marrying an American, but I'd bet the lese majeste laws would still apply to her. They've applied to a royal dog after all). Previously they got away with a lot of nonsense, with Prayuth's Section 44 giving him above-the-law power.
