Yep local vegs and fruit contaminated from their massive use of pesticides & fertiliser products. I think they rank 4th in world in terms of usage that includes both China and US.
In one piece of research I was sent recently it noted "the result of groundwater quality analysis shows that groundwater has not contaminated with Arsenic" which included a local who lived close to mine and drank the ground water for 40 years
