If you look at annual reports of every aquaculture operation on planet earth then you would realize that mortality is relatively high ranging from around 8 to 15 percents annualy. Some occur at a particular point in a year, some steady throughout. If tassal keep reporting every morts then the SP would be crazy. Some die from natural causes, some die from diseases, etc. From Norway, Chile to Tasmania and so on this is the case. Every now and then you do get ELEVATED mortality that is abnormal, for example sea lice in Norway, Chile, etc. That would be a massive event that would get reported immediately and would be plastered on mainstream news.
