TXN did say that there was as Austrlian entity looking at their Eagle Ford acerage and AUT would have to be seen as a potential purchaser.
If they were to make an offer of 1 AUT for every 4 TXN (equals about $0.88 per TXN share) they would be getting a bargain on the acerage and TXN shareholders would be getting a significant premium to the current trading price. Some shareholders may want more, but I would happily accept an offer like this.
