    On a general note, TXN seems to be trading at prices where there is no takeover premium, and is finding its level. The share price falls have been pretty relentless though. It would clearly be better if it just traded with the Ords- in which case it would have gone up today on this green day.

    The company has said it will be demerging, so maybe the market is waiting for that. Not sure how long the company thinks it takes to do such a thing- I would have thought it takes a while. I cannot imagine (but I may be wrong), that the Directors and associated parties, will get options renewed again after Christmas- surely they wouldn't ask that!

    This is not the first company that hasn't found it easy to sell assets- half of the ASX has themselves on the block these days.

    A question on the Roundhouse ANN: does anyone know if they will pay for this new asset from existing cash reserves?
