Tom, thanks for the input/discussion. It then puts it "partly" in the realm of dissolvable sutures. That's a polylactic/glycolic acid that breaks down into int0 CO2 and water from memory. A protein is different of course, but on breaking down follows normal Atrophy systems, and therefor should perhaps hydrolyze into amino acids which will be recycled by the body.
Can't see a problem with that so I wonder if the EMA are checking very thoroughly what is the make-up of the protein and thus its manufacturing process.
