Looks like there musty have been some delays assuming the original pilot plant was been provided by Global Resources Corporation.

Extracts from GRV's March 2008 Quarterly Report:

"Global Resources Corporation a company that has an environmentally friendly Microwave technology for the conversion of oil shale to oil products. Named by the Times Magazine as one of the innovations of the year and has tested our Alpha oil shale with promising result. In fact Global Resources has advised Greenvale that on their calculations there is about US$319 of product from one tons of Alpha shale.

Global has further advised the company that subject to further testing they would be interested in a joint venture. Global would provide the machinery and the technology and Greenvale/ Esperance the Alpha oil shale. The percentages are being negotiated.

Global should have a microwave machine available within 12 months which would process 15 tones of oil shale per hour. Global suggested the use of three machines on the Alpha Oil Shale deposit to process 45 tons per hour or close to 1000 tons per day. This would result, on Global’s calculation to about US$320,000 per day of gross income. Negotiations are proceeding and will advise further steps as and when they occur.

At the same time the company is processing with a number of other companies to source the right process for our oil shale deposits. These include:
• Nova Gen Corporation a company which has a process that converts oil shale to bio diesel.
• Imperial Chemical a company who was to send us a pilot plant, but has been delayed as we have to obtain all the relevant approvals.
• Emery Energy a company who are associated with Idaho National Laboratories and who have a new process.
• Triton Energy Solutions who represent a South African Group who will be trialing their plant in South Africa in July where the company’s representatives have been invited and we intend to send samples for testing."
