    Tesserent is a world-class managed Security services provider based in Melbourne, servicing customers in 11 countries around the globe.  We utilise our own security platform as well as leading cyber security products from leading global vendors including Palo Alto Networks.
    We are seeking 2 highly motivated and effective Sales Executives to join our team. Experience in the cyber security industry is preferred however training will be provided for the right candidate, keen to enter this dynamic industry if they have a proven track record of sales success in other IT related sales roles.
    The successful candidate will be a high-energy hunter, focused on targeting greenfield accounts to meet and exceed their sales quota.
    To be successful, this role requires the following daily activities:
    • Cold call and prospect new businesses to identify new opportunities, gather information, nurture and qualify leads.
    • Book appointments or product demonstrations with qualified prospects or clients.
    • Understand the clients needs and provide proposals for security solutions.
    • Manage sales pipeline to deliver quarterly quota.
    • Negotiate and close deals.

    The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
    • 1 -3 years sales experience with a proven track record of successfully selling software or managed services offerings.
    • Experience selling Palo Alto or other leading cyber security services highly desirable.
    • Technically savvy.
    • Good rapport and relationship building skills.
    • Strong Business Development Skills.
    • Ability to proactively and independently prospect and generate leads
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • A desire to overachieve targets and earn commissions.
    • Energetic and hungry to succeed.
    • Australian residency/approval to work in Australia.

    To be successful in this role:
    You will be an experienced and driven Sales Professional with a demonstrated track record of sales performance, ideally within Cyber Security or broader IT disciplines.  You will be technically savvy, independent, organised and adapt at developing effective sales strategies and be comfortable in new business generation. Exemplary communication, influencing and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful within the role.
