Out of the 2.1 million 'active' patents 95% have not been commercialized or licensed . As I'v said , patents are hardly an indicator of prosperity .
Merry Xmas and perhaps a more rational NY .
Viva la rationalitie, that is certainly what I am rooting for Pl.
Let's start with a fact:
Playez 3175 (17); Hottod 3370 (1845).
Despite the probability of a few confounding variables etc and not being a statistician, I would certainly score a p value <0.05 to Hottod on the grounds of rationality.
There is certainly a great disjunct between the scientific (rational) validity or reality of a scientific/technological discovery/innovation and a successful pathway to bring it to commercial success.
IMO, it is a lay down misere that TPM fits the scientific validity rationale, but has thus far failed in the far less rational commercialisation process (far too many other confounding factors come into play here).
Thus, here's hoping, as you say, for a rational 2019 (and beyond).
[(probably among others) ADO is a parallel to POH. Honestly, you would have a ball there and a great chance of winning as irrationality is winning hands down atm. But no, POH is your one and only go. In a perverse, way that is somewhat comforting.]
