Terrain Capital just out of interest was all over the NWM ipo, the float was actually managed by them, no one batted an eyelid back then. On the surface it may seem a little off but I’m guessing no regulations are being breached here as the directors openly quote the business media regarding it. They would be foolish to do this unsighted.
We live in an age of knee jerk outrage courtesy of social media and smart phones. Having said that what ticks people off is the idea of that managers in charge of investor funds sail a company into dangerous waters then help themselves to any easy pickings along the way. 
Let’s face it if the so was 10+ cents no one would give a flying fig about it but with the barrage of negative news lately the directors should perhaps give some thought into how this situation is perceived by shareholders.
