My point is sulphide reserves world wide are depleting. No new earth shattering news here it has been discussed snce the 90's and early 2000's where new reserves will required to be sourced from.
In Aust alone current suphide operations timeframes are PAN 8yrs, WSA 8-9yrs, Nickel West with there extensive new pits under development 2035.
There is no known or probable resource in Aust that can replace those 3 operations that between them produce 108Kt of Class 1 Ni per year ( in Nickel West case the highest purity Ni briquettes in the world) plus approx 2.5Kt of Co.
Voisey Bay with the big underground deeps project currently being undertaken will only extend till 2032. And while you are looking at depleting Ni reserves look up the worlds biggest producer Norilsk and look at the yearly production rates for last 10yrs, good if your a bike rider all downhill.
