tenders.gov.au lists a $43,989.00 sale to XTE for combat body armour to ADF’s Diggerworks today. Diggerworks run trials and evaluations. Dig deeper and you will currently see others supplying similar to Diggerworks for assessment (deconstruction and reverse engineering). ADF cannot buy armour outside of CIB until 2023, they won a 4+3 year supply deal in 2016. Why would XTE do this now? It will be interesting to see how much they hype it knowing it’s a very limited opportunity.
