I was simply responding to the claim that CBS should be giving shareholders something extra.
I was pointing out that CBS doesn't owe the share holders anything, it was CBS that was owed money.
Yes share holders will not have to pay because its a limited liability company, But it is strange to say that CBS should pay share holders.
It's like you own a house worth $100K, But you owe $200K to the bank, if the bank takes the house they don't owe you anything, because they are still out of pocket from what you owed they in the first place, the asset they claimed was worth less than the debt you owed them.
it's the same here, cbs have taken an Asset that is worth less than the debt owed to them.
