    IMO thats utter rubbish. I suspect it comes from the concept that CZM makes opthalmic microscopes for eye surgery. But since the eye has a lens that can be used to see directly into the structure, confocal endoscopy isn't required.

    Basically ophthalmic microscopic surgery has been around for decades and I can't see an application here. Someones misunderstood the technology completely.
