OK so I get 100MB a day, given that the highest price for the US is 100MB at $2 per day, we are beating Telstra by a factor of 5 in the worst case where you buy 100MB a day.
i'd argue there is no situation where Testra is a better option unless you don't know your options- aside from the benefit of keeping your number.
