Haven't (yet?) been to Innamincka, but as someone who travels to/through the outback most every year for the last 11 years, it's great to know of actual and potential progress in telehealth - comforting to travellers when in isolated places. The other huge improvement I see since starting annual trips is large improvements in mobile phone coverage, which I guess is equally important to travellers for telehealth in or near tiny permanent populations like that of Innamincka. I take my satellite phone on these trips, not sure if I can use that for telehealth if not in a town.
