Hope you're all having a great weekend...
Would like to share this news story to you all that had been broadcasted on channel 12 news over in the United states.
Reporter: "if you can't see me in person how would you know that I have the flu"?
Dr Ian tonge with Dr On Demand answers: "we would walk you through a physical examination that would include feeling your lymph nodes, we may ask you to feel your sinuses as well and then we would look down your throat to see if there's any evidence of your tonsils being inflamed or infected.
Red hypothetically answers: do all of the above as well as cough a few times near your phone or tablet to determine if you have an upper or lower respiratory tract infection. Dr on demand would utilise ResApps technology in order for this to occur paying us a royalty or a per use flat fee of 5 to 10 bucks per use...
Reporter: "most in person doctors wouldn't rely on a flu test anyway, the centres for disease control found that some rapid flu tests are only 50 to 70% accurate!"
Red hypothetically answers: did you hear about a little Australian company called ResApp with greater than 70% accuracy for upper and lower respiratory tract disease?! It completed a clinical study with three of the most prestigious hospitals in the United states, with results greater than 70% from a high number of test subjects. This beats 50 to 70% accuracy by a long shot!
OMG ! This market is so oblivious to the obvious it's not funny. RAP will obtain CE, TGA and FDA certification, yes I'm very confident it WILL IMO! Especially based on that fact above 50 to 70% accuracy!! At least for the most important reasons for a patient to visit a GP that is being for an upper or lower respiratory tract infection.
To understand why I'm so excited about this company you first have to understand the difference between upper and lower respiratory tract disease.
According to Wikipedia:
Upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) are illnesses caused by an acute infection which involves theupper respiratory tract including the nose, sinuses, pharynx or larynx.
This is the most common reason for a person to visit the GP and less serious.
Lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI), while often used as a synonym for pneumonia, can also be applied to other types of infection including lung abscess and acute bronchitis. Symptoms include shortness of breath, weakness, fever, coughing and fatigue. ... Influenza affects both theupper and lower respiratory tracts.
This is more serious and requires urgent medical attention.
This is what our app can distinguish between with high accuracy better than current standards.
Some pros and cons regarding telehealth by a GP toward the end of the news report but a very positive vibe, if the doctors had access to an extra tool to bolster their diagnosis percentage then I'm sure they'll be all for it....
let's face it Mr market telehealth is booming and ResApp is all over it. Remember at least 40% of all visits to a GP or for on online consultation is to do with some form of respiratory disease...
Cheers

Great post Red bar, happy that you followed up to get it reinstated.
Great video find on telehealth.
I was waiting for reporter to take of her top for an examination by doctor......lol
www.spacex.com launched another satellite last Thursday to give Indonesia mass population access to high speed internet increasing telehealth access.
I agree, Mr market seems to have missed a lot about the booming telehealth market and what RAP has achieved.
I believe CE mark approval will come sooner than expected.
I am re posting your great video Red bar.
I am more than happy to keep accumulation at this price.
RAP achieved 55 cents on hype.....wow imagine the price on CE Mark approval and from there I feel a steady climb up and up and up.
Can't wait to post rocket launch on CE Mark approval.
