Thought I'd share this here. Our JV partners in EP437, who have a farmin agreement with EGO to acquire 15% of EP437 is Caracal Exploration Pty Ltd.
One of it's directors is none other than Edward (Ted) Ellyard.

I was interested in our 15% partner Caracal Exploration and why they would side with KEY in dumping EGO as the Operator for EP437 when Caracal got its 15% from EGO. The Farmin was announced in August 2012. Caracal Exploration is a Proprietry Limited Company Registered on July 24, 2012. There are two shareholders - Edward Ellyard and Leng Ellyard: Profile below.
Mr. Edward John Ellyard, also known as Ted, BSc (Geology), Grad Dip, MAusIMM, MAAPG served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hardman Resources Ltd., from 1996 to October 29, 2004. Mr. Ellyard oversaw Hardman Resources Ltd. and its subsidiaries' international expansion into petroleum projects in West Africa, South America and the Australasian Region. He is a Geologist with over 30 years experience with major Australian and international resource companies in mineral and petroleum exploration and development, including Western Mining Corporation and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Corporation. Mr. Ellyard served as the Managing Director and Chairman of Stirling Resources NL for a period of 6 years. He was considered largely responsible for identifying the offshore potential of Mauritania, acquiring tenure of it, and setting up a consortium involving Hardman Resources NL, Woodside Petroleum and AGIP. He serves as the Chairman of New World Energy Ltd. He serves as Non-executive Chairman of Bonaparte Diamond Mines NL. Mr. Ellyard served as Non Executive Chairman of Key Petroleum Ltd. until August 31, 2010. He served as the Chairman of Magnum Gas & Power Limited (also known as Ormil Energy Limited) from November 22, 2011 to June 14, 2013. He served Non Executive Director of Magnum Gas & Power Limited since November 22, 2011 until June 14, 2013. He served as Director of Key Petroleum Ltd. from July 5, 2006 to August 31, 2010. He served as a Non Executive Director of Hardman Resources Ltd. from 1992 to December 16, 2004. Mr. Ellyard served as a Non-Executive Director of Minemakers Limited from September 19, 2005 to August 31, 2012. Mr. Ellyard served as a Non-Executive Director of Bounty Oil & Gas NL until November 28, 2003. He holds B.Sc. in Geology from Curtin University, Perth in 1974. He holds Grad Dip and MAAPG.
