When you're dealing with global companies, things take time; it's a fact of life.
As an aside, I'd also like to think that some proprietary details about the tech won't be included in the patent application/s as a matter of commercial prudence.
Something else that will help protect the tech is that it'll be produced in Michigan and not China.
These guys realise they've hit the jackpot and will do everything to ensure shareholders benefit from it.
