Although I'm no experft, I believe that once the patents are lodged, the tech is protected, unless there is another technology for which a patent was lodged prior that utilises the tech.
This would mean that PO3's tech is not unique and they weren't the first to lodge a patent for it, thus rendering th epatent application not valid.
I'm sure capable patent attorneys have been employed to research the tech & potential competing technologies, draw up & lodge the patents.
The granting of patents takes time and I don't think this would be delaying ant potential OEM negotiations or deals.
Also pretty sure that BP would've addressed this issue during his DD, and if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me.
