Comments on CST are few now, but the scourge of TB is getting more painful
Can you imagine the havoc this is going to cause....
"EL CAJON, Calif. -- People who visited a Sycuan Casino bingo hall in El Cajon over the past seven months are being advised to get tested for tuberculosis, after it was learned that a frequent patron had contracted the disease, county health officials said Thursday.
Additionally, any people who rode the Route 2 "Bingo Bus" that serves Sycuan Casino daily from the National City area may have also been exposed and should contact their physician to get tested, according to the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency.
Casino patrons may have been exposed to the disease between June 1 and Dec. 26, 2006, according to HHSA. Exposure is most likely for visitors who spent a total of 120 hours or more in the casino's bingo hall.

"We are working with Sycuan Casino to notify patrons who could have been exposed," said Dr. Nancy Bowen, the county's deputy public health officer. "The former patron is being treated and no longer poses a risk."
Symptoms of active tuberculosis include a persistent cough, fever, night sweats and unexplained weight loss. Most people who are exposed to TB do not develop the disease.
According to the HHSA, tuberculosis is not uncommon in the San Diego region. There were a total of 315 cases in the county last year
