To use an analogy, when confronted with a serious medical condition it's always best practice to post its details on an anonymous medical bullboard for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment; then act on it. Yup.
Crazy to wait/find the needed company-provided information and move from there.
I only highlighted the absurdity of this because of its flagrant disconnect from all that is prudent.
