Tanumbirini, Forrest Hill: UK investor seeking to sell NT properties

ON THE MARKET: Thames Pastoral Company is selling its Northern Territory properties Tanumbirini Station and Forrest Hill.

UK-based Thames Pastoral Company is selling its two major cattle properties in the Northern Territory.
Tanumbirini Station and Forrest Hill Station are being offered on a walk in, walk out basis. The properties have a carrying capacity of about 42,000 adult equivalents.
Tanumbirini Station, covers some 500,000 hectares (1.24 million acres) east of Daly Waters, 800km south of Darwin. Tanumbirini was sold by from Sterling Buntine to Thames for about $33 million in 2012.
Forrest Hill Station, covers 53,800ha (132,943 acres) on the Sturt Highway, 220km south east of Katherine. Forest Hill was bought for $6.4m WIWO in 2013.
It is understood significant capital works have been completed since the properties were bought by Thames. This includes an increased number of watering points and fencing as well as improvements to the cattle herd.
It is understood the buyers are seeking up to $80 million for the two properties.
Tanumbirini and Forrest Hill are being sold through an expressions of interest campaign conducted by Colliers International.
