Lack of control. Every company he's got involved in he's got a seat on the board and the CEOs have generally disappeared before long and Talbot has had almost total say. Here he has been a bit like the little kid who brings the bat and ball to the game and is not good at sharing.
The difference is that the RIV management is extremely competent and really do know what they're doing. That may not have been the case with other companies with which he has been associated.
