Miniscule gains are not to be sneezed at. As a child I was told by my grandmother "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves" That was 80 years ago but it is probably more relevant now than then.
Those "miniscule gains" have allowed me to increase my overall share holdings by 1000%. plus surplus cash WITHOUT OUTLAYING ANOTHER CENT.
I started this program as a project to demonstrate that it was worth starting an investment portfolio with only $1000. This was on another stock forum where someone asked the question "Is it worthwhile starting an investment portfolio with only $1,000". I posted my trades for over a year as proof. It was not done as a phantom trade.
I showed that, no matter which way the overall SP went that it was possible to increase share numbers overall. Remember that it is compounding.
MINISCULE gains compounding can add up BIG.
