Doesn't work like that. You get EXTRA benefits my way and it works even when the SPs are falling.
Look at it this way; If you go to the races you bet on a horse if it wins you win. If it doesn't you lose. However the bookies win and if their maths are followed they win regardless of which horse wins.
Also this way you are always able to maintain the holding. If you trade and sell on a high and it goes higher where are you.
Just saying. ( been saying it over and over and over)
