You are right. there is no diminishment in value.(right now). However it is a matter of control.It is a case of how that control is exercised in the future. If it is meaningless then WHY IS IT THERE ?. Why is the holding in EDE not just held by TAS. Be Aware.
But not necessarily alarmed. I bought TAS last thing today. I doubt there will be a better offer even if tomorrow is the proverbial Friday.
