I would probably sit on EDE for a better price, then go back to TAS with increased number of TAS. I have done that, Sold some TAS at 17.5 and have bought EDE at 21c. That ratio was at 1.2 to 1. Regardless of the way the SP goes, up or down. I will go back to TAS with a trade when 1 EDE will buy 1.3 TAS shares.
Sell 100,000 TAS at 17.5c = $17,500 less $19.95 = $17,480.05
Buy 83,000 EDE at 21c = $17,430 plus $19.95 = $17,449.95 ($30 petty cash)
Plan to sell EDE when the sale will buy more than 110,000 TAS. In this case it matters zilch if the market rises or falls it is a relative value trade. There is not the risk associated wit selling to buy back at a lower price and finding that the price rises instead.
Of course you could follow Rorter in this instance and buy back TAS with a few more than you had when you sold. You just miss out on having as good a multiplier effect.
I wasn't going to continue posting on this subject but the example of how it IS working was too good to pass up.
