    Hi rorter,

Having over 1 million TAS shares and over 2 million EDE shares in my portfolio, I can assure you that this ratio is of major interest to me and one that I already track.

The “lid” issue I was referring to was the ludicrous suggestion by some posters that TAS shareholders could get tricked out of receiving the full value of TAS’s ca. 42% shareholding in EDE e.g. in the event of a TO.

Whytee in his post 19291436 stated the following and I quote:

“I don't understand the intense interest in having either TAS or EDE "realise" the value of the shares buy selling the assets of the company. Shareholders in Boral or Bayer or BASF or BHP aren't generally clamouring to have the company liquidate themselves to distribute the money to the shareholders. It makes far more sense for the company to go on operating as a business and generate either cash flow or capital appreciation. If EDE grows, so does TAS. The holding in EDE is an asset and gives the shares asset backing and intrinsic value.”

I can only say again that I agree 100% with whytee.

    Best regards!
