I was correct on MMS going up big from $9. I was correct on BOQ going down from $11.80.
We'll see if my read through on BOQ being a buy here at $12.03 proves correct.

and I didn;t say BOQ is bad. I said its not as good as the big 4 and BEN on the key measures fund managers follow so it doesnt attract the same insto flows when money pushes into the system. But thats why I buy it - it catches up to the others when market 'risks on' - if you time it right the capital gains are much bigger

On MMS - the stock price consolidated because they raised money. That usually causes stocks to lose steam for a little while.

I had sold out of MMS at 11.40 but bought back in Friday in a small way.
Its still heavily undervalued - on a forward p/e of 11.8 at the moment. Could easily see $12 next push higher.

The reaosn Im buying is I think the ASX could be in for another big surge shortly. XAO RSI is incredibly low - so if DOW keeps racking upward movement the XAO should head back to 5600.

If it comes stocks like BOQ, MMS, CWN, SWM, AGI should all lift quite substantially.

The question though is how much grunt does our market have when its only domestic investors buying.

My feeling is that aussies are a pretty gutless, conservative bunch of investors as a whole and so any move up will be tame unless the offshore money comes back.

And thats not likely while all these fears are held about China - which would be seen as threatening strength of Aussie dollar.

But enough lifting from US will force Aussies into market and force offshore funds to buy or stocks if they get too cheap.

i'm quite bullish on the global markets having a Christmas rally from late october if we get to there unscathed.

Thats why I think BOQ may be in a particularly sweet spot buying right here.

If im wrong and global markets go bearish then I'd have to relook at all the above.
