One last point on your isolation theory... Looking at a map just now it "appears" the nearest rail to WGO's Youkou deposit "could be" the town of Mekambo (in Gabon) which is approx 40km away... No they have not mentioned this yet as a transport option .... but if it were me I would be looking seriously at Mekambo..
