yes, all of vale's iron ore in their southern system is itabirite. It is DSO - they export couple hundred MTs of the stuff.
Logging drill holes takes time. Just need to be a bit patient. The next release will probably have the details you want. But they are very likely to want this to come from the lab not just a guy in the field. Particularly considering it is going to be the 'discovery' hole announcement.
