Not saying your boss is wrong but that is no way to make your money on the stock echange.
More often than not this someone who knows someone who knows....is incorrect.
Firstly the something big may already be known to the market and factored in.
Secondly what the source considers big may not really be big .
Also people talk BS and by the time it gets through the postmans knock saga its even more BS.
Sometimes lies are put into the machine deliberately.

Rather concentrate on what the company has told you.
They are much more accountable(although some do stretch the truth)

They have already told you something big is going to happen.
They have told you pdn is very rapidly heading for 200k ounces.THAT IS BIG.
They have told you past costs and from this you can guess future costs.If you cant the company, if it is in the public domain ,may assist you or someone here may assisst you

You know from this they are very sensitive to the POG and if it goes below $600 per ounce for a long time this company is in trouble .(you should also know from todays announcement theres 60k ounces which will have much lower costs)

They have told you what their resources are and indicated they are upgrading soon.They are six years of future production and rising faster than depleting.
Do yourself a favour and read those reports thoroughly before you make decisions on hearsay.
You find its good fun ,educational and often rewarding and satisfying.
