I think what JSW want to do is T/O PDZ, completely. From there they will keep the company as a separate entity but bring in joint parties in the form off Chinese bankers. By doing this future deals can be done with PDZ but not directly with JSW. JSW is seen as a govt entity and harder to deal with, as in this case now.
