Most high level management roles have 6 month notice periods so handover etc can occur - in this case there was none - instantly gone. Also when you have private equity backing you then they call the shots - not the MD - which again is evident with Rod leaving (instantly but on 6 month "consulting" back to CGH).
My guess, and just a guess, I gotta admit CGH is actually looking ok because the franked dividend is actually quite good and I think they are looking to get bought out. The problem of course is that if you bought them now then you had better pray they dont crash down to 20c .. too much risk for me considering their past performance.
