MM. And he's absolutely right. An LNG plant costs $20+ BILLION and takes 3-5 yrs to complete. Raises question.... Has Mozambique missed the boat? Have proved-up 200 TRILLION cf of natural gas reserves.... with possibly another 100TCF to follow!!! It's all offshore but not deep water compared with many other sites. First discoveries began about 5-6 yrs ago and accelerated since then. But no work has begun either with rigs or anything else. N.Gas is different from CSG and costs less to process, but capital costs are still massive and plant takes yrs to complete. hence, Moz is potentially a huge threat to QLD LNG plants which are juuust beginning production. But it's conceivable Moz prod could be delayed for several yrs as current energy prices too low to justify the cost.
