I'd tend to side with the Climate Change view!

This bid is a waste of space and energy imo, for all concerned. Probably just Zohar's dented ego! (just my opinion)

Nothing to do with the relative merits of each company and Dr Who2 have a look at the price charts over the last year or so. IRM has been more of a dog than TMX. IRM has some cash but no more than TMX will once they finally finalise the sale of the Coogee Gold Deposit.

Why you would ever accept a bid even on the 2:1 terms you envisaged (TMX:IRM) is beyond me, with respect. Zohar and his gang, can't really see many positives....?
