I've been doing some thinking on the history behind this Zohar/TMX takeover.

Zohar ( Iron Mountain) must have been kicked off the TMX Board a few days back.
Now Zohar is doing a takeover move to try and take back control. He'd be figuring a few shareholders will accept his offer and that'll be enough to get back control. Zohar held about 19% of TMX pre the recent rights issue.
When Zohar was booted from the TMX Board SBM, who hold about 10%, must have wanted him sacked.
Therefore SBM (mkt cap of $500m) aren't going to allow Zohar's takeover bid for TMX ( mkt cap $4.4m) to succeed.

Reckon there's more to come here and SBM could be a key player. SBM have an operating plant near Bundarra and can take additional feed. They're best placed to see the value.

Figure SBM will nail Zohar's bid because they nailed him before.
