I would note also that in the event of a takeover, your shares can generally only be 'compulsorily' bought off you if (collectively) over 75% of the other shares that were bid for by the would-be acquirer have been voluntarily parted with by other shareholders for whatever price was offered (as well as the would-be acquirer also owning 90% of the shares in the company on an aggregate basis).
