I may be obtuse, but what was the one intention?

As for a company being for sale, I have made so many mitakes in buying into the rumour. Now I like buying into the fact! If NHC cools (as we get the usual AFR Street Talk saying Indian parties or Chinese parties have walked away, as they often do- walk away, that is), NHC is going to be a strong buy.

There is an article in the AFR where some bigwig dealing wit takeovers, says that the best strategy is to sell on the initial upward SP movement of about 20%, and then buy back in. This is not advice- I just remember it being said, and it's not a bad strategy. NMs said they got an offer, and their SP soared, only to fall back gradually.

I keep NHC on a watchlist- it was the share that paid and paid (capital returns/dividends, etc)
