There is many reasons not to merge IMHO esp in this way the last purchase of 20c of ARD was fair IMHO the takeover at 16.5 is not(going off a 15c USN share which most likely after the takeover an cap raising would be closer to 10c)
The ARD shareholding keen on this would surely only be ones that have interest with USN as from the merge through takeover USN gain far more interests in the prime Bullant/kempfield etc(where ARD lose interests)
As for rest of ARD shareholders 70%+ the merge/takeover will gain us some nickel interests in North USA/CAN--yeah no thanks
both companies have round the same amount of cash at the bank both of similar size except one has great assets, the other not so much IMHO
