Personally I don't think IFN is going to be a takeover target - even if it does I think a potential acquirer will only move after the refinance is finalised. Since the current financing obligations are so restrictive I doubt a new acquirer will want to take this on straight away as it stands.
When management does complete the refinance (not entirely sure when this will occur) I think the price will rerate but it might be more attractive then for acquisition (though I assume it will need to be large player to swallow it).
If only the clownish dinosaurs in Canberra could come up with a proper relevant energy policy (ie something that actually recognises climate change and the importance of renewables) IFN would really rocket.
Renewables are the long term investment trend and I am invested for the long game.
