Pasqual, I reckon your message was tongue in cheek but anyway.

There is zero possibility of DKN looking at Count.

Count owns approximately 7% of DKN.

My information is that Count was going to make a takeover offer when they took this stake. Zurich wanted $1 per share, Count were only willing to pay 0.85c. The gap was too great therefore a deal was not possible.

Also, I think Barry has been warned that the two organisations are too culturally different and wouldn't be a good fit. If Count took over DKN, many key DKN advisers would potentially jump ship.

Because of all this Barry set his sights on PIS (Centrepoint). A lower quality outfit.

Still, there is no reason why Count isn't a takeover target for someone.
