Im not sure what drugs or weed that you have been smoking sonj,but just about the only thing i agree on is the starting point for a full t/o of your ehl of 80c provived thats cash! because some other assets can be marked down over time.


Acquisition by a PE outfit would require more than a 50% increase or a half bagger on your maths, they normally aim to get somewhere near a 5 or 10 bagger on their outlay to make it worth their while after going through all the due diligence process ocover their costs and come out of it with a handsome profit for the risk involved.


World economic recovery is still a long way off, the sp's of many companies in the USA are being marked up because the results are coming in not as bad as analysts forecasted,the losses are still huge but they re not as big as the ananalyst's had forecast or/guessed ,so ita bit premature to think that demand for such equipment will be soaring in the short term.

Many of the main world powerhouses are still stuffed! burdened down by rescuing their major companies and stimulus spending to all the mums & dads to kick start their own economies.

Acquisition by a competitor would require ACCC appoval.

The GFC was no mistake sonj! it was damn real, try and tell otherwise to the millions of people around the globe that lost hundreds of thousands if not millions which our children and their childrens children will be paying off for the rest of their lives long after you and i and everyone else on this site is 6ft under!
