If you dangled 20c in front of most of the smaller shareholders i recon most would take it. Top20 and Directors are another matter.
Its not necessarily all about what the potential is worth in the long term (if that's the case probably 50c is better). Its more about what price majority of shareholders would take and run in the short term.
If you get the Directors on your side and agree to the takeover price then most holders would follow
