"only the desperate re selling atm or those really clueless

no way is the current offer under consideration"

I sold and for a number of reasons:

    1. Main reason: The entire deal stinks

    2. Second reason: Regardless of what happens, ADI is 'dead' money again until things settle down - there are other better ops elsewhere - AUT is one of them. It's clean, no big shareholder like AWE, and so far no cap raisings and if they do one the price is going to be a lot higher than a couple of weeks ago. That will make many shareholders quite happy unlike at EKA and ADI. (By the way, now how much did that ADI cap raising cost the company and shareholders: $3 million and counting.)

    3. ADI doesn't have to consider anything - the offer is unconditional and if people sell to AWE, they sell to AWE. End of story. ADI can carp and complain and tell shareholders not to do anything, but the offer is open and it is there.

Several things need to be looked at:

    1. AWE is going to keep their offer in the market and not change it.

    2. Those buying at higher prices are hoping for a higher offer, but again AWE doesn't have to do anything. They keep it at 40 cents and scoop up whatever shares they get. At the end of the offer when there is no change.......well guess what happens?

    3. What happens when all that want to buy run out of funds?

    4. What happens when no more people want to sell?

    5. Many people have lots of short term cap gains which means that they won't sell regardless of the cash price.

    6. Consider if the market continues to tank.....well what are people going to do? Take the 40 cents and run.

    7. I really doubt that there will be another T/O offer given AWE ownership %.

    8. ADI is going to come back with all that blah, blah, we are undervalued stuff - yep that is why they flogged 15% of the company at 26 cents just the other day!!

End result: AWE gets ADI at 40 cents or maybe even if holders are lucky a few cents more. The offer expires and AWE continues to buy on the market at 5% a year. AWE captures most of the value added that took YEARS to build and shareholders see their hopes and dreams of $1.00 plus down the tubes.
